Lovely delicate work Alan, you have obviously got good drawing skills.

This oldy worldy scene is beautifully painted Alan. Love how you have painted the snow.

Super piece of work, Alan.

Excellent Alan. Tells a lovely story and beautifully painted

Lovely painting Alan.

Absolutely superb, the colours are great.

Beautiful narrative, Alan, delightful altogether

Lovely delicate watercolour.

Full of character and extremely well painted.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, I was apprehensive on accepting this commission but on seeing the photo it was a gift to any artist, it is of the recipients grandfather and brought about tears on opening on Christmas Day thankfully for the right reasons

Superb Alan.

What more can I say that others haven’t. It’s beautiful, colours and delicately painted.

Absolutely Stunning

I love everything about this superb painting Alan, the background buildings and trees and the figure and horse in the foreground.

Thank you again for all your kind and reassuring comments and wish you happiness and a successful 2020

This painting is beautiful. Your very good at winter snowy ones. Love the horse steam

Thank you Faye, I find winter scenes work well for me as they take away the need to work out tonal values, Ash’s breath was achieved with a damp brush but I forgot to include Mr McGarrigle
