Always interesting colour combinations.

Radiates warmth like the Spanish sun.

That dazzling sea, terracotta roofs and luscious orange brush marks scream out heat and pleasure. Fabulous Alan.

Lovely vibrant work Alan, the orange/ blue passages bounce off each other very well.

Beautiful vibrant colours, Alan. It shouts Spanish.

Everything right about this painting- subject, composition, colour, application of paint and atmosphere.

A jewel Alan you are finding great ways to flesh out the Spanish experience

Lovely composition and use of colours Alan, makes me want to be there!

Lovely choice of colours, Alan as always, never fails to attract my attention.

Beautiful use of the complimentary colours Alan.

Carole took the words out of my mouth, Alan. A tremendous piece for atmosphere and heat, with the colours and haze oozing warmth. Great stuff. Bri

Love the orange set against the blue sea making it unmistakably a Spainish coastal town.

Lovely work, Alan - like the colouring and style

I liked the first version, Alan, but love this, the colours are so vibrant.

Beautiful colours, you can feel the warmth

Gorgeous as usual, Alan...makes me want to visit there¬

I really like this Alan - you have a lovely sense of sparkly light on the water as well as the heat of the day.

I love the beautiful vibrant colours in this Alan! It immediately transports me back to Spain! Love it!🌷

Those lovely ochres, oranges & reds, next to the mediterranean blue sea with sparkles, really evoke the heat in that coastal scape of Spain. It's lovely.

My favourite colour combo, and I love the perspective.

Oil on MDF 20 x 20in. This is one of several Spanish scenes that I’ve been busy working on from my recent trip. This was completed a couple of weeks ago, but have revisited it and made some improvements. Currently working on a really complicated vista of Segovia in Spain, it’s turning out to be more impressionistic than normal, the main emphasis being on light. I’ve been taking stage photographs along the way, as it might make an interesting WIP feature at a later date.
