I love the clean fresh palette and bold shapes. I envy your ability to draw those angles !

Lovely fresh sketch Alan, has that 'on the spot' quality. I think the tan paper works well for this subject.

If that's a scribble...... Would still be brilliant if it was a 20 hour and not 20 minute sketch.

Really lovely image.

Style and limited colour combination really hits the mark Alan. Nice work indeed.

I love your style Alan and these lovely sketches with such a limited addition of colour. Would really like to see this in oils when you get back.

Love these sketches Alan, they are so appealing with the limited colour palette 😀👍👍

Another class architecture study Alan what a great quality of observation and line again

Another beautiful sketch Alan - I agree with Diana - I also envy your ability to draw those angles!

Very good perspectives and great trees and splashes of Orange on roofs.

Amazing 20 minutes work. I could see this framed and hanging on my wall any time of the day!

Yes, a very good drawing Alan!

Gorgeous fresh sketch again, Alan, very eye catching!

Super sketch and love the orange and black touches - great effect

Lovely clean walls, straight serene lines, beautifully calm atmosphere. Great work Alan.

Super atmosphere, from a really perfect sketch.

Another superb sketch Alan.

Lovely Alan, I like the black tree.

Love your sketches, Alan. As mentioned by others, they have such a clean, fresh look to them (especially on that tan paper).

Splendid work I love that touch of orange

Continuing my scribbles in a sketch book! I’m gathering information for possible later paintings, and I love this type of rapid 20-minute sketching, mistakes being all part of the enjoyment. This fabulous church is a kilometre away from my casa down into the centre of the village by the square, the dome is a gorgeous Cobalt blue colour. I love these old traditional Spanish buildings that stand nearby, bursting with interesting shapes and features. Indian Ink on A4 Strathmore Tan paper. I have done some oil sketches also, I’ll add a couple of those next week.
