The light on the water Alan gives or adds a sense of movement to the water, in these winter colours you have here. Understand your feeling Alan, painting is all about being outside. When I do it I am oblivious to all that is around me, apart from my subject in front of me. happy day ahead.

Thanks John, Linda, Stephen and DB. 20 minutes on these small boards is adequate for me, any longer and I am fiddling around too much. Appreciated anyway. I've been working on a larger canvas on and off for a while now, of this very same subject, so I know it off by heart.
