And beautifully captured Alan. Love the palette.

Wow, Alan, this is super. Gone straight up to the top line here, and very good indeed.

You've captured a wonderful in this painting, great palette. Heather

Lovely glow in this one Alan.

Another stunning work, Alan, indeed worthy of top line.

Fabulous brushwork and atmosphere, Alan.

Definitely full of ambience. Warm and lovely, with lots of lovely paint!

Love it Alan, such wonderful pallet and compositon

You say 'no detail', and strictly speaking there isn't - but with those calligraphic marks in the trees and buildings, together with the very clever variations in colour and brush stroke, you suggest detail and the eye fills it in naturally. How much of this is careful planning, and how much instinct born of long experience - well, I suspect the latter, but whatever it is, it works.

I can feel the morning sun Alan, you have captured it so beautifully. That southern light is so much warmer in colour than our white one here in UK.

Really Iove your new colours Alan!

Masterful composition and recession
