Always a pleasure Alan yes there are so many subjects wanting to be painted.

Alan, I love the series of ink and wash sketches you've posted recently - they're really striking and always stand out on the gallery - lovely choice of colours as well.

Bold, strong style Alan. Lovely!

Lovely Alan. loved your series of paintings

A cracker........but that tree. It looks too neat against the gable of the structure and suggests that there is no side chapel to the far side. Sure it's unlike you to cock it up Alan but.....

I have loved this series of yours Alan and this is once again a fine piece of work, looking forward to the oils!

That superb touch of blue again - great series Alan.

Echo everyone else Alan. These studies have been so filled with light.

They will be missed, Alan, such a joy to see.

Another stunner Alan and I look forward to seeing the oils , where you live has beautiful subject matter and it's fascinating to see it in all seasons

Striking with the light on this, Alan. Lovely pen and ink work, as usual.

Cheers everyone for your encouraging remarks. Derek, that is a Yew tree set back about 30 foot from the entrance to the church and goes down a slope, I did think that it looked alright, but my eyes can deceive me!
