Thank you Alan for your comments on my latest , regarding Paynes grey I almost never use it beacause of it's staining power I make a lovely grey with ultramarine and raw umber

Similar to a previous smaller sketch but a bit bigger at 16 x 16in and worked up with a touch more detail. This spot on the green is a haven for artists on a sunny day and plenty of potential buyers milling around also.
