Wow. This is even more dramatic than your depiction of the outside. It is glorious. I love your use of green and red.

This brings back memories, when I was an apprentice I had to work in the foundry for a few weeks at the large factory I was training at. I found it quite frightening to see all the molten metal flowing, as you have depicted so well here.

This is my favourite so far, Alan.those reds shine out and the molten metal slightly off centre is a great focal point. Also, a very interesting composition with lots to look at around the painting.

Great one Alan I used to deliver at a furnace and the heat was overpowering

Love the red glow from the furnaces, bet it was so horrible to work in that heat. You have captured it so well Alan.

Alan, you have excelled! A fabulous combination of elements, structures and colours. You have brought them all together to produce another snap shot of history.

Another absolute beauty Alan! I don't know what to say it's so good. No wonder it jumped to the top gallery straight away. Magnificent!

Wow, the power in this is fantastic ....

Love this one Alan. Fantastic fire! Red and green are so difficult to work in a painting..............but not for you. People are great scalers here too. Another cracker!!!!!!

Another cracking and powerful painting Alan well done.

This is beautiful Alan, love the colours, WOW. :)

This is incredible on so many levels - composition, colour ,vitality & composition - love it Alan

You can really feel the heat and power in this Alan. This series just gets better and better.

Absolutely STUNNING, Alan! I love the palette, the superb rendition of the fire and steam and the very dramatic atmosphere of the scene.

Great work Alan. A real tribute to Stoke on Trent.
