Brilliant Alan your work has so much atmosphere and character and experience

So well done and that flower urn in the front adds a magic touch.

Love the dramatic colour Alan.

Dramatic and atmospheric, Alan - love the sketching especially in the foreground

A lighter feel to this one Alan and not just in the palette. The hints of red zig zag your view through the scene ending up in that amazing sky, made all the more so by your use of graphite, love that! The vague shadow of the urn (right) starts you on that journey. I've spent many hours in the grounds here as a youngster, before it was open to the public.

wow, I love this technique Alan, can't wait to see the other :)

Fantastic building and what a super atmosphere you have created with this wonderful painting, Alan.

This is more summery evening Alan than scary windy nights, so mellow, love the colours in the hall.

Distinctly yours, yet you have a way of reinventing each piece with a fresh approach. Stunning, Alan!

It's all been said. Great stuff. I like to colours you have used.
