Love this Alan.. the blues tones have great atmosphere..

Lovely and atmospheric, not looked at it on laptop yet, I bet it looks even better with all the white lines.

Bursting with atmosphere Alan

Sounds an interesting process. High drama in this one, Alan. Excellent.

This has come out really well Alan, I like the colours you have chosen.

Love monoprints and I like the blues in this Alan. (I did do a few monotypes following a forum article of yours some while ago, and it's on my list to do some more!)

Love this, Alan. It’s very atmospheric and I love the colours.

Well, thank you all so much. Printing never seems to get the credit it deserves so I welcome your comments. Some drypoint etching will follow after a few more monotypes.

I love the way you've used the mono-printing technique. The colours and marks give the image a very dramatic feel.

Nice one Alan! Yes I remember your piece on the subject, it inspired me to have a go.

Wow - very dramatic and atmospheric. Looking forward to your drypoint etching.

Simple and effective, and the best way at times Alan. But the more you look the more you see.

8.25 x 12in printed on Fabriano Rosaspina, image size 5 x 9.25in. A simple one-off monoprint, pulled on my own press using Akua Intaglio printing inks. I wrote a feature on monotype printing for the e-newsletter, some time ago now, and was delighted to see that at least a couple of the readers' gave it a shot, and very successfully too.
