Certainly does, the fibre looks so realistic. How do you do that Adele? Is the fibre glued on? Anyway very clever work and so effective.

Thanks Carole - no the fibre is punched in with a special barbed needle and secures itself to the support.

Thanks Adele sounds interesting. Love the Abba song too.

and I dream I could paint like this........

Oh my word this is wonderful Adele, you are so clever! I know how hard this is to do as my sister-in-law has tried this. Well done!!

That is absolutely stunning. I have no idea how you go about this technique but it looks amazing

Thank you for the lovely comments Peter, Margaret and Diana.

This is brilliant Adele and the eagle looks pretty frightening.

what a lovely painting, not quite sure how you have done it. but it certainly makes a very interesting picture, and the eagle looks so fierce great job well done Adele

Thank you for those encouraging comments Marjorie and Tao. It was great fun doing it.

Brilliantly 'done' Adele, a striking piece.

Thank you Russell.

That is superb Adele. I've tried dry felting but only managed to produce something that looked like a 4 year old had done!

Thank you Val - it's just a matter of patience because of the tiny bits of fibre you have to use for detail. If you enjoyed the making, whatever the outcome, have another go.

That's a lovely piece of work Adele beautifully done

Fibre Art - Approx l6" x 11" (40.5cm x 28cm) - Support 6mm Pre-felt. I saw the original photo on Pixaby and immediately fell in love with it as I love eagles (from a distance of course). I filed the photo away for future use and then when I was looking for inspiration for my next fibre art painting I immediately felt (note the pun!) that this eagle would lend itself nicely to the medium.
