Beautiful colouring and work on the poppies and buds Adele. But those seed heads look unfinished in comparison to the beautiful detail you have given the rest of the painting.

Thank you all for your comments. I would agree with you John. For something so simple, I had a lot of trouble with the seed heads. Could have been improved upon.

This oil was painted some time ago and taken directly from the photo, however, if I were painting it now I would change the perspective a little as the seed pods, flowers and buds are all on the same level.
