Once again - I saw the original today and I wish you could see the true diversity of the colours in the mane, which don't show up qite so well in this print. Also the eye and mouth are so sensitively done - they are wonderful. A great portrait and a very nice composition -love the tilt of the head.

Oh what beautiful horses these are! I really enjoyed painting this one from my collection of holiday photographs. Hope I have done him justice. Cretacolour pastel pencils on Fisher 400.
