You just get better and better. You just get everything totally right from the actual portrait to the background. Also the subtlety of your work and this portrait is wonderful and I can really feel how much you love dogs through it.

This is lovely - well done. I tried pastel on velour for the first time this week and, as you say, it certainly can be unforgiving!
