Wow! Absolutely brilliant. I love it. More defined than Jean H, but your own style and interpretation which is great. I think this way of painting animals is fantastic and you are well on your way to mastering it. Can't fault this at all.

A lovely bit of painting..... he looks (or are tabbies not all female?) alert, intelligent, and really rather civilized, for a cat. Excellent.

Thank you all so much. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this but feel rather guilty as I only spent a couple of hours on it and I sometimes feel I should be spending more time planning and finishing etc. However, not in my nature I'm afraid. Can't wait to get onto the next one!

super treatment, great image -- especialy since I have been off cats since Hull, Ferens winter exbn dominated by a selector who was cat mad !!!
