Chinese lanterns are wonderful things - painted beautifully here, those colours are so well observed, and the whole thing so well painted. Like the snail....

I was a little out of inspiration this week so decided to work through some of the projects in December's Leisure Painter. This is Diana Stuart's Chinese Lanterns which I thoroughly enjoyed painting.
