What a lovely painting. I saw this in LP this month - did think to have a go but thought I would get it all wrong. However, having seen your wonderful work I am inspired to try. Leaves are beautiful and I love all the lost and soft edges which bring the fruits into sharp contrast. Don't do anything to it as you might spoil it - it is perfect as it is. No fiddling!!

This is my attempt at the exercise in LP October 09. The original has a more yellowy background which I cannot seem to capture on my photo but actually I prefer the more bluey tones here! I might try washing some of the yellow out.
