Looks really good Denise , so much different to the paintings you were doing a few months ago. You have developed as a painter so much over the short time you have been with us on POL. I for one look forwards to seeing your future contribution to the gallery.👍👏

Really good Denise! I think the way you have painted the glass is excellent!

What medium did you use?

Thanks Paul, that’s very kind of you to say. Thanks Diane and I used acrylics.

Well done Denise, lovely grapes and glass, was it fuller when you started? 🤣

Fabulous, love the way you have painted the glass

That made me laugh Katy, can you tell by the brush strokes. Thanks Hilary, I’m glad I tried this again.

Really good Denise and that glass in particular is v good

Very nicely done Denise, the glass is terrific.

Really good bloom on the grapes. Glass is good too.

Denise you are coming along splendidly, well done! I’m jealous of your ellipses ....

Thanks for all your very kind comments Heather, Jim, Linda and Fiona.

I tried to paint grapes at the beginning of the October Challenge and they turned out looking like brussel sprouts. I sat down at 8pm, worked in dim light and even though I didn't want to, I had to get past this. I also put the glass in because the first time I tried to create glass was with the sunflower painting I did. The glass jar wasn't good. So this was something else I also revisited while I was at it. I am happy with the glass effect but I know the stem went a bit wrong. I finished it at midnight.
