It gets better; no, it does.  This was the Prussian blue experiment, and the cause of much struggle; these things tend to be rescued by letting them set for a while, and then going in with lighter paint.  Using Prussian Blue, however, was a challenge - in part because I hadn't used it for some years, and had forgotten how invasive it can be.   In the end, which I shall post in due course, it came around - or I think it did.  If I'd used Prussian Blue for the first time, however, I would have scraped it all off, let it dry, and started again with anything BUT Prussian Blue. You get used to particular pigments - Prussian Blue is notorious, but had I been more used to it, I'd have had an easier journey.
But Prussian blue likes white? Lovely cold colour imho. I'd like to see more light at the end of your tunnel, Robert. I have a tech question on oils, which I've picked up again, but I'll put it in the Oils section.
Hi Robert, there is a picture in the gallery, woman in the window. I really do not think it’s the type of image POL should have on the site. A step to fare I would say. Can something be done. Thanks
Probably not only Robert who polices the site,  but Dawn's responsibility also...  Re the image - I quite agree.  Sorry to see two "likes".
I’ll jump in here Graham first… I’ve already addressed my concerns with some of the other moderators earlier, and also to Dawn. There’s nothing us moderators can do about removing this image until Dawn returns on Monday! We don’t have access rights to the gallery!

Hi John  we are aware of the offending painting and we will discuss it with Dawn on Monday I have spoken with a fellow coordinating who also feels it inappropriate. I will also message the person and let them know that people are unhappy with it .
Yes as Alan said and as I thought we have to wait till Dawn comes back. Thank you Paul, appreciated.
Sadly these pictures are becoming common place on the gallery,  Non of them are life studies / drawings .i feel that they should be on a dirty old man's site.... No doubt one of the perpetrators will now be as abusive to me as he was last time.
Thanks John for raising this. Sylvia makes a good point. The two posts are horrible.
Made a reply, and suddenly - I must have accidentally hit the wrong key - it disappeared. Anyway - I understand the points raised, but as Alan said, moderators on the forum can't touch the Gallery: I did see one of the images, and think it's for members of the site to raise their objections with Dawn: personally, I have objected to posts which exaggerate the characteristics of women's bodies in what I believe to be an exploitative and voyeuristic way: and I feel that one of the latest images (I've only seen one) just add to that, as might have been anticipated. On the whole, I don't object to explicit imagery - but I don't think this is the place for it.  I'll look at the latest one now.
OK - of course, I'd seen one: the semi-censored one.  I'm assuming the other is one of Eric's latest?  I don't want to comment on that here for the moment, but if you could confirm the pictures which concern you, those who have raised the issue, I'm sure the moderators will raise the issue with the company; we can do nothing that you can't do with regard to the gallery - I think I have suggested before that some of these images are exploitative and voyeuristic; but I'm only another member of the site as are the other moderators - you need to make your own representations, those making the posts to which you object need to make theirs. I've made these points before, and frankly I think that the latest example is the logical consequence of previous tolerance, but - there are other views: I don't think moderators can do more than we've tried to do already.
