Nothing particularly wrong with his other nudes, apart from being badly drawn anatomically but not offensive! That’s what you get when you’ve never spent any time in a real ‘life class’ situation with no tutorial advice - for one, you would never be confronted with a pose like that, and copying from a two dimensional image in a magazine or online source will rarely lead to a successful result. I’m certainly not impressed with his sourced material. On this occasion, I didn’t like his ill considered decision to think that this was an appropriate or acceptable posting for this (or any) website…clearly I’m not alone here. I’m less generous than Paul, I’m not giving him any credit for removing it, he should have never considered posting it in the first place!

Alan, badly drawn nudes, brilliant!!!! Made me smile on a Sunday. Caught me by surprise as it’s not your normal optimistic approach
What with all this and the latest post I now wish I had never registered an objection.
Actually, I would love to buy you all a drink if I ever meet you. My pleasure. Coffee or tea I mean.
John please don’t regret having reported it , it’s a very separate issue with Eric he was using it to have a go a several people and was bound to happen sooner or later . You did the right thing and I hope you will do the same again if the situation arises . There is no blame attached to you in anyway but I owe you a thank you for bringing it up  as most people felt through sand way as yourself.
Just to add I approve of Eric being removed from this site as Dawn well knows. Whilst I don't like his fantasy portraits of women I accept that we all have a right to different views.  HOWEVER, I absolutely object to his approach and manner and he is far more offensive as a keyboard warrior and this attitude does not sit well with me and I don't think it belongs on this very good site.

Keyboard warrior. Too nice, although totally acceptable.  Haven’t seen any new stuff of yours for a while Heather?
Thanks for asking Martin.  Have really struggled with my art recently, working on one still life but totally lacking in inspiration not helped by having a house full of builders/decorators etc etc and all sorts of other issues for over 3 months now ... but I hope to get my act together soon!
I also agree with the action taken. Personally, I dismiss people like this, they have no bearing on me whatsoever. However, I don't like seeing members who make reasonable comments being led, purposely, down a path that puts them in a direct line for personal attacks. There is no room for it on this site.

Well, we are all missing it, I’m sure. I know what you mean though… if you are not happy you can’t work. Been trying to escape this too. Kick start momentum again.  Patience is an artists virtue, and interruption of routine scuppers that. I am a decorator, so I know having workman in your house is not good for the soul
