Colours of Autumn. 40 x 50cm oil on board. A local scene from just along my lane, with a few autumnal colours added. Always a great sketching spot for me, the River Trent in full spate at the moment – no surprise there! My first of two landscapes for Dawn's challenge.
A lovely calm image, Michael, and I like the colours of your bracken, Audrey. A vibrant piece of work, Alan.

A stand out painting Alan.
Still waiting for the leaves to change colour here so I thought I’d look for something different. This is from some photos I took at a fruit farm in Worcestershire a year ago.

Lovely, they look delicious, Tessa, Beautiful colours as always Alan, the river Trent as so much to offer, Nice one Micheal, Love those ferns Audrey, Looks like everyone s been busy, in the last few hours, hope I haven't missed anyone.  Still finding my way around the new forum😀
Not sure how edit my last post,. But here is my cherry tree leaves, just turned a lovely burgundy colour.  A quick painting in oils.
I can't work out how to join this forum . Could someone advise please.  This is a painting I recently completed whilst admiring the combine harvesters at work for hours on end, thundering along the fields.  I chose a minimal palette and splattered masking fluid in the foreground. The misty effect as the dust builds gives a lovely atmosphere.

Thank you. I struggle to find the forum unless I see someone's picture on facebook. Where is the link to the forum?
Probably best if you go to the main www.painters-online.co.uk page and you should see a banner across the bottom of that page with a menu on the left. From that you can get to the Forum or the Gallery which are I think the two most popular options. The site recently had a big revamp so we are still finding our way around!
