I thought I would post my first attempt of my grapevine, the colours are not so good, but we all have our failed ones.
I decided to get closer (in my garden). This is my result, in happier with this one, both are painted on canvas board in oils...they are decaying grapes, they did not grow so well this year...no wine,.
Thank you Lesley. Your second vine painting has benefited from your closer observation Lesley. The form and colours are much clearer and the grapes look quite plump and round. Shame about the wine though...
Just a quick one - I love the colours of the bramble leaves in the autumn - there’s been an abundance of blackberries this year on Headley Heath where I walk my dog.  She loves blackberries, although I have to pick them for her!

Thankyou Fiona,  it's is a shame about the wine, but luckily we still have last year's batch stored...  😀

Love your colour choice, it's definitely autuminal..
Lovely work and excellent colours, Lesley, and Jenny. I just might have to get a pomi,  that looks delicious. Jenny I saw your post reply in the September Challenge...a little nudge :)

My last offer for the challenge walled garden at Hughenden Manor, the home of Disraeli. Painted whist sat in a Land Rover not a lot of room.
Some really good paintings for Octobers challenge, we have no autumn colours here at moment and can't get inspired, also still trying to get my phone sorted with passwords to no avail. Its a real bind having to get the laptop out every time to make comments. A totally fed up Linda !!!
Poor Linda, what a bind! My laptop died in its sleep some time ago, so I now only have the iPad and phone! I couldn’t get into the new site for about a week but eventually with help of the team I’m back. I agree there are some lovely works here for October. I’m still working on mine and still waiting for the autumn colours which are now just starting to appear around here.  Jennie and Dixie, lovely strong work, and very different. Dixie for someone crammed into a landrover and with your hand problems, that’s a cracker! I can see your love for the place.
Thank you Tessa for your nice comments. Linda don’t be fed up it will sort out as to the autumn colours I cheated and added some and enhanced other bit, I think it’s called artistic licence.
Here’s another Autumnal pic from the dim and distant.  It’s a view across the fields by my home, the crop has gone leaving blond stubble.  It’s water colour in an 8” x5” Moleskine sketch book.  Some lovely responses being posted here for this challenge. Brilliant .
