Probably best if you go to the main www.painters-online.co.uk page and you should see a banner across the bottom of that page with a menu on the left. From that you can get to the Forum or the Gallery which are I think the two most popular options. The site recently had a big revamp so we are still finding our way around!

Thank you Tessa
My offer for the Forum challenge- sketches of things seen and found on a walk around Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
Lovely idea, well done. I especially like the birds!
Fabulous work, everyone. Tessa, I can just your apples bobbing about ready for the ducking of the apples :)
Thanks Carol. They were in huge square box containers and did look good!
Boxes of apples, freshly opened, smell so gorgeous. Seems we have two different conversations on the go with this part of the forum. Would it be possible for the challenges to have its own thread. Please.
Autumn Floods.  40 x 50cm oil on board. A view from my window, with the addition of autumnal colours. This was painted as the floods from the burst banks of the River Trent had subsided, leaving large areas of flooded fields. I’ve left some foreground grasses as turpsy washes, they were saturated and reflecting the light, so I’ve tried to keep them as transparent as possible.
Wow Alan that’s a stunner. I like the way you’ve used the landscape colours in the sky and reflections in the river. Beautifully painted.
Some lovely work gone into the October challenge, we still have no autumn colour here at all so looks like I need to put my thinking cap on. Linda
Although I don't normally do challenges, thought I might as well join in and have a go this time. I was practicing some plein air, in the garden, and noticed my pear tree leaves turning from a deep green to a lovely shade of orange in the sun before falling.
A beautiful autumnal Suffolk scene . We have some beautiful landscapes around Sudbury. This was taken in Brundon. The farmer busy ploughing the fields. A pen and wash study including the use of a dotspen
