I must admit when I saw the November challenge, I thought not for me.   I didn't want to draw/paint mushrooms and/or fireworks.  But the mind's a funny thing, I decided on a rain-soaked day I'd do a fantasy pic...and the mushroom idea must have stuck in my noggin and played it's part.  So, maybe not quite as intended, but here's my pic for the November challenge. Just fantasy.  Mixed media, mostly watercolor, plus pen, gouache, and a little colored pencil.
Lew I think this fits the November challenge really really well, as always your  paintings are full of character and fun, you should be a children's book illustrator that's for sure.
Jen, so sorry to hear you are out of action again, thought I hadn't seen any of your postings here or on Instagram for a while, hope you get better soon, Linda 😀
Love it Lew....I’m glad I’m not in your noggin...
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Autumn is such a great season for colour especially when the sun shines.
Absolutely Fabulous Lewis.
Thanks for your kind comments about my picture.
Excellent idea and drawing as always Lew, all great ideas from the members on this challenge, it’s a popular one, I’m having a go today.
This is my entry for the november challenge. I made it a while ago for one of my grand-daughter's room.
Mia, that is beautiful! Would work very well as a book illustration. Fab.
That's lovely Mia, a beautiful illustration 😀
Based on a Photo that Fiona kindly sent me yesterday, as I’ve had no luck finding my own fungi. Just a quickie knocked out this morning, Nitram liquid charcoal and Nitram Baton or stick! 10 x 8in on Fabriano HP paper.
