Still a few days left for the October challenge and everything is still looking quite green here in Kent! There have been some great entries once again. So onto November. Last week my garden became a veritable fungi wonderland (see photo below) and I thought a good challenge (or two or more maybe) for this month would be to paint fungi and/or fireworks. Or fungi in the colours of fireworks perhaps? I look forward to seeing how you get on!
Thought I’d get mine in early this time!  Not a new painting, but hopefully it fits the challenge - mushrooms and toadstools are one of my favourite subjects.
Gorgeous Jenny.
Thank you, Sylvia!
Lovely mushroom photo and a great first post Jenny. This one will take a bit of thought ( actually don’t they all!).
Super illustration style artwork Jenny.  I’ll probably pass on this challenge unless I can find some interesting fungal mushrooms growing in the hedgerows around my plot. If I can, I’ll definitely give it a go in watercolour for a change. Weather permitting I’ll have a root round tomorrow but I’m not hopeful.
Lovely, Jenny, I like you style.. I too have to think really hard on this one,   I've just finished Inktober prompts so a little brain dead...but not for long ha ha... I did this yesterday as a firework splash with some left over ink...posting as a celebration, but it seems to fit the challenge well a little bit anyway
This little is Dobin. Popped up after a thunderstorm. A little dirty on the left due to a mud slash. Watercolour 7x5 inches
Brilliant painting John ,it  definitely fits the challenge.
So funny Lesley..I was looking for the fungi the realised there was an alternative, love your bright sparks. And yours John, how did you find this chap ?  So little fungi this year it’s been damp but not humid , I usually have stacks of field mushrooms and puffballs  but none this year . So might have to dig out pics of last yesrs breakfasts .

As they say on Blue Peter....  here’s one I did earlier. More Sainsbury’s than hedgerow ....sorry!
Really like these Alan.  Was about to do something similar but you got their first...rethink time.
