Gorgeous examples of mushrooms and fungi for this challenge already, mines a bit drab compared. Finished yesterday from a photo taken on the Moss reserve....where there is fungi galore, so no excuses for me not to do another. I’ll choose a more colourful one next time.

Very good drawing Fiona. Haven’t seen many mushrooms around this way yet, certainly not the colourful ones some have shown.

This is a damn good drawing Fiona, are you sure you did it!  We don’t see enough pencil work, well observed and you’ve taken some time over it.

This is my first post and as I'm no techie I'm not sure if it works or not. Anyway the challenge inspired me to get my watercolours out.

Lovely studies Emma, I think I have some of the ones on the right....a bright pretty orange. Yes it worked Maureen and so did your watercolour, gorgeous colours, love the way you’ve painted the stalks.

Thanks Fiona -I’ve been told that they’re called Velvet Shank, and supposedly edible, but I’m not risking it!

Love this challenge, you could get very very creative with it, anyone for a fairy house? Lol. I'm suffering with my right arm at the mo and cant lift it, I have done something to my shoulder and the pains atrocious. Cant paint or draw at all. So I cant really join in altho i really want to. I tried to do the october one but couldn't complete it due to the pain. Gutted!!!
