Not sure if this is a book title Paul but is it Merlin? and Alan is it Westward Ho by Charles Kingsley?
I’m with Treasure Island?
Well that’s a good one Linda, but I was thinking of the very simple Treasure Island!
Could it be treasure island Alan
Here is another attempt from me. I enjoyed the book far more then the film they made of it.
No it’s not Merlin Linda, though you are on the right track, it is Arthurian.
I am stumped with the sword.  I suspect my daughter would know.  I am clueless about the one that looks like a thief. My offering is obscure.
Gudrun, this is a long shot!  Mary Stewart "Airs Above the Ground" - there is an alpine rack railway in it! Dixie, is your King Arthur book one of the Mary Stewart Merlin trilogy?
Is it Excalibur Paul. I have read loads of book series on Arthur, and I have one with that title.
Gudrun, has the tram just be headed some one
It's not Airs above the Ground, which I have read.   Yes, I am afraid to say it's a beheading via tram ....
