No it not Excalibur, nor is it the Merlin trilogy. I think I will keep this one going a bit longer.
I’m afraid I’m not very good at guessing other people’s, but thought I’d do just one more as my previous ones were easy to guess!  Hope this will be a little more difficult, although maybe not for a science fiction fan!
No idea, but I love the image, Jenny.
That’s good Jenny, is it Dune? Love the colours!
Well done, Fiona, got it straight away - oh dear, another easy one, then!  I love science fiction, and this is one of my favourites.

My book is The Once and Future King by TH white, this was the book that influenced Disney to make the animated film Sword in the Stone. I came across it last year in a second hand book shop, it was originally written in four parts, in 1939, and formed one book in print in 1958. Reading it it seems that only the first part was used for the film , the film was done true to the book. I cover the whole legend of Arthur, Albert it a bit old fashioned and quaint in its language it’s still a good read.
That sounds a good read Paul and certainly well hinted at with your painting. Jenny, I remember Dune, didn’t the film come out in the early eighties, not sure about when the book was published. This one is a really difficult title to guess.....lol.
Well, Frankenstein?  Love the way you have done that. Less obscure than mine I should say.

Alan is yours Burglar Bill.
Dixie, it’s not I’m afraid to say. Perhaps i did not make it to obvious. Think about what has been taken.  It was a fantastic book called THE BOOK THIEF. There was a film made of the book, but it was no where near as good, to many plot changes, and had a slightly different narrative.

That’s a really good Frankenstein sketch, Fiona!  (Re Dune, it was originally published in 1965, I’d actually forgotten it was also made into a film, didn’t see that.)  Afraid I can’t guess Gudrun’s, will be interested to hear what the answer is!
Is it a Street Car Named Desire, Gudrun.
