Well Dawn, I've still got the annoying pop up along the bottom of my lap top, hides part of the pictures on the Gallery and covers some of the replies on the Forum etc. Not good for the web site and certainly not good for my patience. The damned thing keeps moving so I can't ignore it.

Dawn - ads at the top of the page are all OK but ads at the bottom are not because they interfere with visibility of comments and artwork unless you scroll down to avoid them ... irritating extra keyboard work.  If you can move please and think all of us would be very happy.

I can’t even scroll down on the I-pad to avoid it covering the menu.  Though I can on the laptop.  Now I’m stuck on the Forum and can’t get the gallery!

Curious, the pop up seems to have disappeared from my iPad, though not from anything I have done.  Unfortunately it  is still a regrettable distraction on my laptop.

The ads are gone from my phone, tablet but not from my laptop. Though I haven't checked my laptop this morning yet.

I have been trying an ad blocker on my iPad, but have switched it off for now, as it does tend to slow down browsing. The silly ads are still covering the menu bar, but I can get to the parts of the site that I want, a) because I’ve bookmarked them, b) I can still get to to the rest of the site through the “Sections” section right at the bottom of the screen or, c) switching the screen orientation to landscape, which shows the “ Menu” icon on the bottom bar. I’ve decided to ignore the ads for now and treat them like I do junk Mail through the post. I’m not likely to buy anything from them as most are just totally inappropriate - almost comical in some cases. However, Google ads seem to be very aggressive advertising - not only on this site - and are likely to start putting people off.

I’ve still got those annoying pop up adverts at the bottom of the page. It makes my iPad unworkable. They did disappear for while now they’re back!

The ads at the bottom of my iPad are driving me nuts - they only started a few days ago and pop up as soon as I log into POL - they cover the menu bar, so I can’t get into the forum. Did manage to just once and have now saved the forum as a favourite, but it’s really annoying - only just seen that others are also having this problem.

Rest assured that Dawn is aware of all these issues, I’ve spoken to her myself - she will sort everything out next week, so until then, we will have to learn to live with it.
