Looks like we still have the wretched things. Could we reach a compromise? They are particularly annoying on the Gallery page - as I have said before they are designed to attract the attention, and thereby distract from what you really want to look at. Could we have a pop up free gallery, if nothing else?

Hi,
the ads are provided by a third-party supplier and unfortunately, this means we have lost control over the exact placing. The overlapping ad at the bottom of the screen had been fixed a number of times but for some reason, they keep returning. Therefore, we have an incoming website layout change that will move the main navigation menu to the top of the page on small screen devices. Hopefully, this will make the site easier to use on tablet devices.

Thanks Mark. The problem is also when you make comments as the ads at the bottom interfere with this so just moving the navigation menu to the top won't resolve this for us PC users. I do understand you have to monetise the site but these ads are a serious nuisance at the bottom of the screen

Good afternoon Heather,
thank you for letting me know there is still an issue to resolve with the floating ad. Can you please reply to this message with a link to a page that you are struggling to add a comment too? I'll take a look to see if we can fix it for you. Also if you can let me know what web browser you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc) this may help locate the issue.
Kindest regards,
Mark.

It's all pages Mark. When you click on an image (or indeed answering a Forum comment)to comment the ads at the bottom appear so to add your comment you have to scroll the ad down to enter your comments in the requisite box. Hope that helps. Browser is Chrome. I know others have described self same thing so it's not just me! Can't send you the link because the ad bar moves of course!
