I’ve complained to Dawn about it.  It is really awful.  I’m very annoyed.  I got my husband to find a roundabout way to get to the forum.  But I still an ‘t use the menu.  If you could only move the advert, it would be ok.

Funny you mentioning appropriate ads Paul, according to my browsing history in ‘pop up’s’ ....I’m moving house, getting exclusive partner benefits, interviewed by HM customs and require Andrex loo roll! It hasn’t mentioned in which order.....yet.

Just noticed that the bottom menu bar is only shown on my iPad and not my laptop. I’ve got one ad in front and one behind the menu bar. Is this a special feature for Christmas just in case I can’t think of presents to buy?

The original makeup brush keeps popping up on mine. What are they trying to say. They have either seen my art work or heard I fell and hit my face on the concrete pavement a month ago, which landed me in hospital for a neck and brain scan because my face was so swollen. All is well now though and it's practically healed. I spent a couple of weeks painting with virtually one eye closed. Painting took my mind of looking in the mirror. Not a good time to be practicing my self portraits. Mind you, it certainly would have been colourful.

Actually I use a ladies blusher brush for my acrylics. I bought one for 99p from Wilko a few years ago and it's still going strong - and it's one of the best brushes I have for for getting the paint to blend smoothly on the page.

OK - got it now. Switching this particular ad blocker on fully seems to work, but it now won’t allow access to this particular forum thread because it’s title is “Adverts”. Pretty fierce and could have some unintended consequences. I’m going to experiment a bit and see what happens.

If you scroll back a few pages, you’ll see that Dawn Farley (online editor) for those of you who don’t know, asked us all not to use ad blockers. Any issues report them to her directly and she’ll sort them out! The site is free and has to make revenue from these ads, this enables for future investment etc... Dawn’s words not mine. Dawn is not at work today, she’ll be back in the office Monday or Tuesday.
