You just beat me to it Fiona😖 Jenny, the colours and simple shapes led me to Gauguin. I'd never seen this one before.

I’ve always loved Gaugin’s colourful work, but didn’t recall seeing this one even though it’s in a book I have of his work! ‘Still life with three puppies’.

Ok, here’s another, but I think I’ve made it too easy.

It has a similar colour palette to “Girl with a Pearl earring” especially the yellow and blue, top right. On that I would guess Vermeer, don’t know the title though?
Yes surely Vermeer. Is it The Milkmaid?
I got the Picasso, but too late.  I like Gauguin, but didn't get that.  I agree...Marjorie's MUST be Vermeer's Milkmaid.
It must be  Vermeer's Milk Made , it’s so alike  in colour ect. Well done a Fiona and Tessa.

Yes, it was too easy - The Milkmaid.
Most have all been guessed before, I've had chance to guess, not that I have much of an idea any how. Been to busy at work and around the house to paint but I had a go with my pencils, (hope that's ok)
I got The Milkmaid Marjorie, but Lewis’s Policeman stumped me. These paintings snippets are  so good.
Well Alan, not for the first time in this thread, I'm completely collywobbled by your picture.  First thought was a painting of the Moulin de la Galette in Montmartre that lots of artists painted, but I don't know about that monument.  I'm probably not even in the right country.
