Alan, I think it’s Nelson’s Column, Trafalgar Square but I don’t know the artist. Whistler? Someone else will know this one.

I don’t know either, .playing catch up here and admiring the superb paintings ..your Vermeer ,Milk maid is wonderful Marjorie .  I refuse to put a milk bottle/ container onto the table , my mum trained me well .  So I always use a milk jug and pour the milk into it  I automatically strike this pose .  Every time I do,this I think of this painting.  .  Some lovely work.I gave something in mind.

Yes! Thought of Turner because of the colours but was on the wrong track with Nelson’s Column. Over to Alan.

Is it Rembrandt ‘The Young Warrior’?  I didn’t immediately recognise the painting, but did a search on warrior and found it.  Super painting.
