It’s not the answer, but it would help if there was a restriction on the number of images that can be posted in a day, although I believe this has already been suggested a few times in the past.

It is four  Jenny then it's not possible to post any more..

Sorry, badly worded - I know it’s four, should have said further restriction (to one, or two at most?)

Sorry me misunderstanding..
I wouldn’t have any objection to a reduction to perhaps two per day. As I’m not churning out  manipulations of someone else’s photos probably in five minutes each, this would not be a problem!
Two seems sensible to me.
Regardless of the question about how the work is produced, the gallery has proved so popular that paintings disappear so quickly into the milieu of new postings that it gets difficult find a previous posting if you want to take a second look.  For that reason alone, I think a reduction in the daily posting limit would be beneficial and welcome.
Tony makes a very good point of late several people are posting four at a time,  not all digital I must add and work soon disappears of the page . I was looking at a painting a few days ago quite early in the morning, by evening it was moved two page down . I do believe it’s more frustrating for those who periodically post a painting thst they have worked on for quite a while to see it move off so quickly.  I definitely would support two a day maximum, as this would affect everyone and all would be treated the same. I don’t think we will see the end of the manipulated photos posted but it will reduce them .
I posted a painting on the gallery at 9am this morning, only to be swamped out with a block of multiple postings plus the usual photo manipulation… ironically enough, the very same thing happened yesterday. I’ve disappeared onto page two some hours ago, and unlikely to get many more viewings or comments. It can sometimes be a bit disheartening but I take it in my stride these days… Two postings a day has been my choice since I joined, but it’s unlikely to happen I fear! As for photo manipulation, it requires zero artistic input but I guess it’s here to stay!
Oh dear. I have just posted another! In watercolour, I work quickly. Perhaps I should slow down but I'm feeling quite productive at present.
Just to add a pretty please to the debate.  Yes, can we limit it to 2 posts a day POL?   That would help us (in my case) very slow painters and for those who are more prolific surely they could add them over the space of a few days rather than all at once?   POL - I can't see what the problem would be especially as this issue has come up so often before?  Many thanks in advance!
Heather I agree as I’m also a sloooow painter these days! Perhaps it would be an idea to trial this for a period and see if everyone is happy?
