Sylvia, that’s a great 30 minute sketch, love your marks and scribbles. Good luck for tomorrow and hope you’re not hanging around too long.
Thank you Fiona I hope so as well....it’s soooo boring.
Not so much a sketch as a re-vamp for today’s contribution. I did a watercolour sketch last week which was terrible so I’ve attacked it with a bit of everything. Painted over the original with gouache and ink and cropped most of the sky. In anticipation of snow, which has been forecast for tomorrow locally. Before.... Re-vamp......

Linda what a beautiful squirrel, both versions super, Richard a delightful pen and wash of your pub, Sylvia, hope your day goes well, lovely doggy sketch, and Fiona what a fascinating difference in your two versions of the landscape. We went to the garden centre yesterday and I took a couple of photos of broad bean for seed.  Pen Sketch and then added gouache.

Great to see so many still taking part on Day 27!  Sylvia, that is a gorgeous dog sketch - and hope all goes well tomorrow.   Fiona, liked the original but love the new revamped version - completely different!  Tessa, great to see the 2 different stages - really nice detailed drawing and lovely colours. Running a bit late tonight!   Watercolour sketch with fountain pen on top from a photo by my husband of a Common Darter dragonfly (another one from Mersehead - from last year I think).
Super sketch Sylvia in half an hour, all the best with the appointment. Beautiful loose watercolour Marjorie can’t tell that it is not your usual medium, brilliant portraits and figure drawings – from Flamenco dancer, self-portrait to Sam with his awesome hair! Amazing work everyone I have tried to comment on others’ in the gallery. Fiona enjoying following how your abstract pieces are shaping up and the revamped painting (original version certainly was not terrible as you describe it) has a lovely contemporary feel.
Day 27 sketched on train on my way back, from a photo I took today. Relative sizes very hiffy 😁!

Will comment tomorrow, just got home from airport. All my pencils were packed but managed to sketch the hotel cat with cheap pencil on back of the drinks bill.
Big drinks bill Marjorie to fit a whole cat on . .glad you had fun.
That’s a true artist sketching on the back of a drinks bill Marjorie! No opportunity missed and a very good cat here. Anjana I love railway station sketches, everyone looking up at the board waiting to dash for their train, really good observation and figures. You’ve definitely captured the way people stand and their luggage.
Well here we are nearly at the end of the month. I’m going to miss the challenge and the chatter just as much. Well done every one for getting this far, I’m worried I’ll flag at the last minute. I have tried to get photos of the pair of barn owls that live in the old barn at the  farm, without success. So I used an online one to do today’s sketch, beautiful birds but messy.
Wow, we all have been busy. Still a varied subject range, From squirrels to cats, dogs , to a lively out hilly place to walk them, to barn owls, sketching on the train to capturing the pub. Colourful beans to even more colourful dragon flies here is mine for today, its of my home town of march , on  a Saturday market.
