Still some great sketches being produced, love those figures Anjana, recycling paper with you cats Marjorie, like it!! Paul your owl is a beauty, Fiona I almost missed these lovely paintings, Sylvia saw your lovely doggy sketch on gallery, beans, beans and more beans from Tessa, and Alans lovely market drawing, well done guy's and gal's, hope I've not missed anyone out !!!
Quick sketch for future painting. And next stage ...
Nice movement in that sketch Linda and I particularly like the colours so far. Anjana's figures are excellent, particularly the stance of the chap on the right. Alan, your sketch has some great detail, Paul's owl is lovely. Like your beans, Tessa, the addition of colour has really enhanced them, at first I thought they were pebbles. Fiona, you're like me, painting over and creating something new, a little more towards the abstract. Sylvia, your little dog is gorgeous and, just for the record, that big piece of paper with the drinks bill on the back was for the WHOLE WEEK!😇
Margaret, I missed your lovely, loosely painted dragonfly.
A huge selection of themes and applications in everyone’s work.....it’s great to see! Three sketches left to do......on a personal level, it hasn’t been as bad as I expected it to be, for myself that is. I didn’t rate myself getting past the first week...lol. This is what I’ve added to the load of scrap today in class.

Another day of fantastic variety folks! Dixie with your snoozing owl, Linda with a lovely heron, looking good so far, lovely flowing drawing, Fiona I wasn’t sure I’d last the month either but only a few to go! Your abstract is fascinating, reminds me a little of Troika pottery. I passed this little village postbox earlier and sketched it in the car, then finished with pencil, and gouache at home.
I didn't think I could last either although I have missed a couple of day's here and there. Fiona another good abstract, I can see a fish!! and Tessa a good post box. not long to go now but I have enjoyed it.
Will be back to comment later, on the fantastic work posted. Just thought will post my day 28 before I go out, not my dog though, sketched from a photo I took with the owner's permission at a craft fair.
Day 28!   More great sketches!  A lovely drawing of a very cute dog, and good people sketch, Anjana; I like that little postbox sketch a lot, Tessa; your abstract is coming along nicely, Fiona - you are definitely braver and more adventurous than I am!  Beautifully drawn heron, Linda, and the colours in the painting so far are lovely; love your  cat sketch, Marjorie - does not look like it is on the back of a bill!   Really like your owl Dixie (I've never managed a decent photo of a barn owl either); and super market sketch, Alan.  Hope I've got everybody in - apologies if I've missed anybody out.    A quick fountain pen and water wash sketch from one of my own photos of what I think is a weeping birch on a golf course.

Please forgive me for not commenting or contributing since day 9.  My mum became ill and I had to be with her 24/7. She passed away peacefully a few days ago..  im trying catch up with this month, but find the 50 pages are a little to taxing. So keep up the lovely work and I will join in again after everything is sorted. No time for even the smallest of sketches...I am missing that, but mum always came first......

Lesley, so sorry to hear of your mum passing away, my deepest condolences. You do not need to apologise and please don't feel that you needed to catch up with 50 odd pages! Take care of yourself and I look forward to seeing more of your work when you are ready.
