Loads to comment on, have just arrived on holiday for a week ( travelled yesterday ) so didn't manage sketch yesterday. Two this morning, will comment tonight.
Here's the first of mine today from a photo I took on Dartmoor last year.

I like this one too Margaret. Simple and direct. Nice work.
I can't keep up with the pace at which you all are churning out work!  Paul you really are in your elements with vehicle sketches, fabulous castle Linda and so is sketch of Dartmoor Christopher. Margaret like your washing up and colourful people too, your sketches convey a sense of economy with lines. Marjorie great sketches from your holiday, that shows dedication 😊. Fiona interesting abstract shapes will be looking out for how you progress with them. Tessa I think it is a sensitive  loose painting, pheasants are such beautiful birds. Now what to sketch!

Delightful daffs, terrific truck, fab figures, pleasant pheasants....that could be tricky to say after one or two snifters.......happy holiday sketches.....and a partridge in a pear tree! Hope I haven’t missed anyone out. No offence taken Tessa, it’s a super study hope you enjoy them.  Here’s my art class sketch from today, done in pastel. This is the pre- planning/painting sketch before I attack it with oils.
Christopher, Margaret, sorry I missed you out. Christopher, love the way you have framed that super view. Margaret, lovely pen work, is that Arthur’s seat on the right? Thank you Anjana, looking forward to seeing your sketch!
That's clever Fiona, I can see a duck with a big bum!!  holding a baby, Hope that was your intention lol, !!! No time for one today but well done everyone for all your sketches.

Looking great Fiona, I would not know where to start with abstract shapes!
By far too many good drawings been added to comment on them all. We don't seem to be running out of ideas yet. Just a quick dash as a lot happening. Big surprise today, I posted one of my sketches on my Facebook page, and I have actually sold it. Thanks to you all for great inspiration.. So here is todays picture, it is of Hunstanton light house all by itself

Lol....Linda I can see it too! I’m going have to turn it upside down or something now because I will only see the duck with the fat bottom! Thank you Anjana, I don’t find abstract very easy, it takes me hours to just think of how to turn a recognisable object into abstract shapes. The colouring in bit is the easiest part!  Congratulations Alan! Was this the one you sold? Not surprised if it was.
Fiona I think it’s going to be very hard not too see the duck with the big butt, from now on. I’ve tried looking at different angles it’s still there, might be better with paint, a shame as it’s great.
Fiona, I’m not so sure about the duck, but I do see a Bertie Bassett with a big butt!!! You’ll do very well to get these ideas out of your head! Good luck.🤩
