Apologies for not posting many detailed comments recently - beautifully sketched orchids Anjana and like your hut Christopher - a very tricky angle.  Linda, I've had the odd editing problem as well recently though more on the Forum (and given up on the Blog!)   Hope it works for you soon. A bit short of time today so a quick sketch of the drying rack - unfortunately I had been washing lots of nice tricky clear glass stuff!   Fountain pen and water again.

Marjorie, lovely sketches of your sweet granddaughter, and Dixie, that sweet bluetit is accurate and so well painted. Anjana, your orchids are simple but lovely. I have some in my kitchen so I’ll keep them in mind for another day! Christopher, I like your seaside hut, so British, I can imagine people sheltering there from wind and rain! A difficult but lovely subject. Margaret, another tricky subject but you’ve certainly got it spot on. Now I’m off on my walk looking for today’s inspiration! Margaret this has been a great way to get us through January, thank you! X
Hope you get inspired today Tessa and not blown to bits or rained on!  Glad you are enjoying the challenge - having so many other people joining in has certainly been encouraging me to keep going!  and I'm really enjoying seeing all the beautiful sketches :)
No Margaret not rained on today. It’s lovely here,  bright and sunny if ccccold! This is Bourton on the Water, pen sketch (about 20 mins) with addition of a little watercolour when I got home.

Pen & Ink on A4 Mixed Media Pad. Drawing / Illustration "pretty much" from my imagination with previous reference to copyright free images. Tried to do it continuous line - nearly but not quite got there !!!
Cleverly done Richard. I like the way you’ve drawn the vase and the eye fills in the part you’ve left out.
Like the way you have painted your vase Richard, Tessa you are so lucky to have such wonderful places as Burton-on-the-Water to paint. Mine today is of Barnard Castle in County Durham.
Richard Nice little drawing, Tessa great little painting of Bourton on the Water. If I remember rightly this has or had a miniature town of itself. Used to go there when I was a child.  Margaret love your washing up sketch,  So to my offering today, it is of the Ouse washes at welches dam Manea, looking out on Ely Cathedral
Great painting/ sketching going on today from vases to cathedral via bridges and castle, so much good work. Mine is incomplete as I was sketching it between the different departments and treatment at the hospital, ran out of time.
Lovely watercolour Alan. Yes you are right, the model village is still here, and attracts many visitors! Dixie- excellent drawing and use of your time at the hospital! How are the hands?
Linda, I missed your castle- wonderful drawing and you’re very brave to tackle such a big beast! Super.
