Lot less painful thank you  Tessa, the hospital appointment to day was the eye clinic as in the past year I have lost about half the vision I had in my left eye. Quite scary when you go for an eye test thing it only a year since last one , my vision can’t be that bad.  I’m sure it will be sorted and as long as I can see enough to paint and play with the granddaughters I’ll be happy, but a bit scared.
Oh dear. Hope they can do something to help. At least your hands are allowing you to produce some lovely sketches and grandchildren are a delight. Also you can hand them back at the end of the day!
I used like handing them back with the  comment of this one need changing, not in my remit.
Nice one! Chin up and keep sketching and painting. X
This challenge is going at a pace, it’s wonderful to see and be part of. Three pages have wizzed by since I last commented, a wonderful collection of landscapes, still life and everything in between! A collective praise to you all!  I’ve been sketching all afternoon but for my class tomorrow, so I will add a couple of what I’ve been up to. They are from my load of scrap sketches, broken down into a couple of different abstracts which I’ll be working on in one way or another over the next nine weeks. I’ve got a headache.
Another great selection - lovely buildings/urban sketches; minimalist flower and vase; and interesting designs from scrap.  Dixie, nice start and sorry to hear about your vision - all the best.
Super sketches everyone, sorry to hear about your eye Paul and wishing you luck. Today's sketch a 10 minute one of daffodils
Not had a lot of time today so I will do 2 tomorrow great sketches today everyone
Thank you to those of you who have left message re my eye problems, it nice to have your support. Lot of good work again lovely daffodils and plans for an abstract, your drawing reminded me of technical drawing class at school Fiona. Kept to my comfort zone for this one.
Lovely daffs Anjana; look forward to seeing your sketches later Christopher; love the detail on that truck Dixie.   In case I forget later, did some people doodles with my new wc pencils and a fountain pen - strictly made up!
Love the doodles Margaret nice colours, I have so W we pencils but have not used them very much they are very effective from the look of your work.
Some very interesting and challenging abstract shapes Fiona, will be fascinating to see what you do with them. Another cracking truck Dixie, I wouldn’t know where to start on that! Lovely daffs Anjana, one of my favourite flowers. Super figure sketch Margaret. My sketch today is in pen and watercolour of a brace of pheasants hung on our back wall by a friend! Hope this doesn’t offend anyone, they are such beautiful birds. I couldn’t resist a sketch before we do something with them!
