Day 14 - 2 very quick (ink one was timed at 2 minutes but did a wee bit of tinkering after) sketches of North Berwick Law and Bass Rock etc from a photo I took from Observatory Road (Blackford Hill), Edinburgh.   First one is fountain pen and water; the 2nd is Caran D'Ache Neocolor II watersoluble wax pastels.
Beautiful sketches, specially to do the first one in 2 minutes captures the essence of the place very effectively. I am going to call this wip my day 14
Time is going by quickly nearly mid month, my offering for today. Fields about the town done from memory.
Some lovely delicate landscapes , a handy hand, and Anjana’s delightful birds; it changes every day! I just bought a Sailor Fude pen which arrived today so this is my first attempt at drawing with it. Inspired by Margaret’s fountain pen sketches I thought it will be handy to carry around. Not sure if anyone else has tried one? They have a curved nib and were designed for calligraphy so you can get a thin or thick line and anything in between. Obviously still to get the hang of it!
Lovely sea birds, Nice teapot  and beautiful landscapes. Well done everyone. I have a Jinhao pen with fude nib it's a lovely  pen for sketching.
Well here’s a little extra, topical weather sketch!
Tessa, love your windy day sketch!  Interested to see how you get on with the Sailor Fude fountain pen/nib - interesting results so far - love the teapot too :)   More lovely watercolours, Anjana and Paul.  Anjana, hope you post the finished piece, it is looking lovely already.
Just some abstract flowers with shading - 30 minutes
Wow fabulous sketches of fantastic range of subjects bikers jacket full of character, delicate autumn leaf, arboretum from an unusual view point, flowers in garden, unfurling hellebores, well done for keeping your hand in Christopher great sketch of a difficult subject, dying tulips - loving the time lapse sketches of tulips Margaret, gorgeous pen and ink wash Marjorie, hope I haven't missed anyone. Mine is from a photo taken in November at the local reserve - baby gulls I believe or are they terns?

Great "loose" sketch with movement and just the right amount of colour.
Cheating a bit, I did this yesterday becauseI thought I might not have time today. At the Art Club.
