Wow you have been busy today, great sketches/paintings everyone, I intended sketching this afternoon then I got visitors (didn't mind lovely to see) then had to get tea on so that's my day gone again, might try and post something later from the sketchbook again, well done all halfway there !!!

I received two generous gifts by post today, one of Sylvia’s innovative sketchbooks and a set of oil bars from Marjorie. My sincere thanks to you both for your generosity.
For my sketch today, which I’ve just managed to get done, is a quick made up landscape using Marjorie’s oil bars on Sylvia’s paper.

Wow Fiona that’s superb, I especially like the area of ochre in the front right. I’m saving my Sylvia sketch book to try to do something coordinated with it so still thinking about that.
Lovely drawing and roses Linda, should make a super painting.
Alan I really like your lift drawing. There’s a similar one joining Lynton and Lynmouth in Devon which we visited last year. Very clever mechanism!

It's very good though, Paul. Going back into the comfort zone is necessary, we need to relax and enjoy too, then we can push ourselves again. After my "studio" painting, which was not relaxing I can tell you, I am going to paint the kind of still life I love, just simple, maybe a collection of whites. Already looking forward to it.
