Nice sketching Gillian I use the inktens travel set for all my sketching...this has the feel of winter moving in...
Your sketch looks really good with the colours added Gillian. Like your winter looking landscape Bari. From me a quick watercolour sketch of three baby tawny owl , two whits and a woo .
Gillian that’s lovely with the added colour. Bari that’s a scary sky, wintry indeed. Love the young owls Dixie. Had a good long walk this morning and did a few scribbles one of an old chap walking his little dog, and one of a hedge which I call ‘hacked off’ which is exactly what had been done to it. Hedge cutting is so roughly done these days.
Like your man and his dog Tessa. They do make a mess of the hedges with those awful flails , and it look terrible.  I was showing my grandson what can be done with a bit of paint and few pencil marks, he is looking to have a go at painting . I think it took about twenty minutes or so.
Every one busy making lovely sketches.  I had a great excuse to do not a lot I have regular eye procedures and am supposed to be good and quiet afterwards.  This is another of my neighbours rewilded garden.  It had been magnificent all summer and changes almost daily.  It’s predominantly yellow right now.

Gillian I like the sketch with the inktense pencils you have done, yours also Bari. The Baby owls are so cute Paul. Love the man and the dog sketch Tessa. I've commented on the gallery on your neighbours wonderful garden Sylvia. It's been a shopping day today so I haven't been able to paint but I've had this idea in my head all day. I've just done a quick sketch of it. I want to try it as a palette knife painting tomorrow. Not sure if I will be able to do it but I'll give it a go.
Lots of good sketching and an interesting composition Denise, my sketch today is from a walk along the river Weaver. The cottages at Acton Bridge.
Denise you have some amazing and original ideas and work. Look forward to seeing the painting.  Bari, another lovely riverside scene, smashing boats. Went to art group this morning, we were presented with a complex white still life which gave everyone the wobblies, so this is a tree I drew later! Much more my thing.
Trees are much more fun.  Again the sketches on here are great.   I’ve just taken Marjories avatar and put her in my concertina book…I think I overemphasised your bum Marjorie.

Ha ha Sylvia, don’t know about the bum but the shoulders look pretty useful. And a visit to the hairdresser is overdue…..actually going next week! Nice to be immortalised 😄
Great drawing Bari. Fantastic looking tree Tessa and I did the painting, think I put it on the gallery Wednesday. Great sketch of Marjorie, Sylvia, you definitely get the feeling of a light breeze whipping the hair up.
Just found it and added a comment Denise. 👍🏻
