Ah, got it BUT that means you have to look at each of your paintings and tot up the grand total. Before when we logged on we would automatically get the TOTAL views our art received. It was really interesting to see this moving upwards. I know some members were up in the tens of thousands (phew) but I liked to see things progressing - at the last figure I was 3664 views which I know is small compared to others but it was very motivational. Please POL can we have this back?????

I’ve also lost all my comments, although this isn’t particularly an issue for me, it does need looking into and they do need to be reinstated.
Agree Heather, as I recall, I was fast approaching 500,000! Sounds a lot but I think I’m right.
Can’t be too difficult to put this back, I do have to question why this, and many more useful features weren’t transferred to the new site!

That's really strange, Alan...only this morning I said the comments are back where you'd expect to find them! Your comment has prompted me to have another look now. Just so we're on the same song sheet, I'm clicking 'my account, then 'my art', this brings up the thumbnail versions, I've just clicked randomly on a thumbnail. Up come the larger picture with all the comments. I'm SURE you're doing the same thing. A little worrying if SOME are failing. I was thinking that maybe the huge number you have had some effect, there can't be many people even close to that. But this shouldn't matter, this is what computers should do easily.

I've been your member for quite a while and intend to continue with my free membership. I have upgraded my account (at least I think I have). Before the latest changes, my free website in "Paintersonline" had an internet address. That was very convenient, I could give it to people, put on my visit card, etc. However, I can't find this address now/ Does it exist?
It would be of great help to keep this address.

I think I have upgraded my account. However, when I put my name "Dmitry Shaklanoff-von Seipt" in the Paintersonline search box I am taken to just three of my images, even though I have uploaded 137. Sometimes I am taken to just my name and that's where the search ends. Why is that?

That's good, Alan. If a little unsettling. I suppose that's why we all need to keep reporting any inconsistencies, errors, etc...and on THIS thread perhaps. It seems like they are looking at it.
Dmitry finding only 3 images in his gallery when there should be 137, is baffling...maybe they are still uploading stuff...there's a mass of data on the site. I've got almost 500 images plus all the comments, and I'm a relative newbie.

I think I have upgraded my account. However, when I put my name "Dmitry Shaklanoff-von Seipt" in the Paintersonline search box I am taken to just three of my images, even though I have uploaded 137. Sometimes I am taken to just my name and that's where the search ends. Sometimes, after a number of intuitive, counter- intuitive, trial and error as well as purely random clicks I am taken to my 137 images, but not each time. Also, Google seems to have most of my images if I google myself, but when I click on an image, it takes me to a blank Paintersonline page.
It looks like my material in Paintersonline may occasionally be available to me (not each time though), but not to anyone else. Of course, it's better than nothing...The difference between the old free version and the new potentially monetised is striking! Why is that?
As I said, I think I have upgraded my account. I have received some congratulatory messages from Paintersonline. But, maybe, not quite? Can someone from Paintersonline staff check on me? Also, one main burning question. If someone, who knows my name, check on me in Paintersonline? Would that person be as unsuccessful as , for the most part, I have been?

Thankyou POL for adding the view count to all of my gallery postings, it is very useful, I did not have that before, just at the top of my account was the total amount of views, mine was 37,000 plus, it was very interesting and motivational, please can we have that back I'm sure it would be an easy issue to solve... Thanking you in anticipation....
Another issue I've come across is that anyone looking at my art in Google images from painters on line, should be able to visit my gallery...this does not seem to be the case, a message come up on painters on line saying that the page has probably not been painted yet? Has anyone else found this or is it just my gallery.

Are you putting your name in the top box where it says “search painters online”? I just tried this and as you say it now gives four items. You need to put your name in the box further down where it says “keyword or artist” . I just tried it putting in just Dmitry and you have six pages full!
