Leaving the file sizing thing for a bit (I may have sorted it with some messing about)  is the site looking a bit like a Sotheby's auction catalogue? Gee, it was so simple and good before, now.....where are we going?

I know, I do wish they hadn't changed things - am not sure there was any need in terms of changing functionalities.  Let's hope they sort all our issues out … and, please, please, bring back the number of views.

Yes Heather, so many of us are missing the number of views and top five. Excuse me I have to go and empty my tear bucket. Then wring my hanky out.

I see the comments underneath gallery posts are now the right way round. IE comments followed by the artist's reply. YES! Nice one POL team Thanks!

I managed to sort my own file-size issues out, but the team seem to be addressing things generally and gradually ironing out problems. Thanks to them for their good work as ever.

I'm missing the number of views and top five too, my bucket is full too John.. time too empty it.  Well done pol, for sorting some of our issues out, I guess it will take a little longer to make the site user friendly like the old one...   Really do miss that view count, as a motivational point..

While we're on the subject of views...we used to get the number of views on each thread.  Not so now.  I think it's worth having.  I was about to post a WIP thread but shied away.  When you post a subject it's fine if you get plenty of comments, or if you can see that people are looking at it...BY THE INCREASED NUMBER OF VIEWS.  Without them, anybody making a post can sometimes think there's no interest.  (Which of course may be true.)

Now here's a new thought - don't know what anyone else thinks?   Re the for sale signs, why not do this as a green dot which shows the painting is for sale (and this can go to red if sold).   Imitates galleries and somehow comes across as less overt I think.
