I’m opening this thread today so that we can continue with the daily sketches, paintings, or any daily artwork to expand it more. This is a watercolour sketch I did in January and am using it as the opening work. Please join in when you can or feel  inclined to do so, it good banter and particularly good in these difficult days.
That’s terrific Dixie and thanks for kicking it off for May. Lovely gentle colours in this.
Thanks for setting this up, Dixie - that painting is lovely:)
Lovely sketch Dixie.. here’s my garden sketch and hope I am posting in the right place..

It’s in the correct place and thanks for post our first May one , lovely painting Nandhini. Keep them coming.
Lovely garden Nandhini. This is mine for today, from a photo I took recently looking at sheep which seemed to be framed through the gaps in a hedge, pen and watercolour.
Nice sketch Tessa, you have kept a light touch and that’s really appealing.. and thank you!
Nice sheep Tessa. The weekend challenge from my granddaughter is to do something about music, can do anything but must relate to music. This was this one for the adults , I put no comment other than make the link, I do the same here.
Little red rooster?!
Tessa your correct. We’re you a stones fan, I was not but happen to find a photo of the rooster as I was thinking about what do.
Great to see these lovely sketches starting of May.   Lovely detailed garden painting, Nandhini; I really like the way you have used paint and pen in that sketch, Tessa - and a very interesting composition; that rooster is cracking, Dixie - lots of attitude (very appropriate with that inspiration!) Been a rather busy day on non-creative things - but managed a quick A5 watercolour sketch (very small amount of detail added with a uni pen 0.05) as I couldn't resist the fabulous clouds.
Not especially Dixie, but remember that one. More Beatles me, but hubby was and still is Stones fan. Good rooster painting by the way. Margaret that’s a great sky. You’re getting rather good at these!
