Why whenever I post the image it always appears wrong way around..??.. any help is appreciated pls.. thank you
Thank you Tessa - I've been reading my old Leisure Painter magazines and learning some new techniques.   Nice delicate sketch Nandhini.   Re the image the wrong way round - are you using your phone to upload?
Margaret you have certainly become really good with your watercolour, this latest one is excellent. Lovely delicate painting Nandhini.
Thank you Margaret.. yes I am using my iPhone.. also thanks for your comment Dixie..
Nandhini when you use an iPhone you need to make sure your photo is saved with the phone upright, edit it slightly if needed. Then it should load ok. It’s the edit and save that makes the difference.

Thank you Dixie :)   I agree with Tessa, Nandhini - I have an android phone rather than an i-phone but I have the same problem if I don't take the photo with the phone upright.  Sometimes I can rotate it and save it, and it works okay - but sometimes it doesn't and I just have to take another photo.  Sometimes after rotation the photo looks perfectly okay, uploads okay onto Facebook, but still loads on this website the wrong way round!
I’ve noticed a few paintings on the gallery recently the wrong way round but if I click on the initial one to enlarge it, it then turns the right way!
I have a passion for British history, particularly involving the use of the countryside and development of our beautiful landscape. I’m currently reading against several books on the development of the hedgerows and woodlands, I was reminded of how the poor villagers were allowed to collect firewood, fallen branches etc. Reading prompted me do do this sketch, using personal knowledge of the woodland and reference photos.
A lovely big old tree Dixie. Your story reminds me when we moved to our current home we had an open fire for a few years and used to collect wood when we saw any which was quite easy.  I was listening to a discussion earlier about returning to work, and the chap talking said he was a teacher and they would only have a skeleton staff, which set me thinking!
Lovely tree sketch Dixie and your cartoon has worked well.  Busy day today - v quick sketch in garden.
Nice Flowers Margaret and love your skeleton teaching Tessa. I was sorting out some flowers and came across a rose that had not fully opened but was withering away. Surprising how many bought flowers do that, still a lot of beauty in it.
