You got there in the end Alan! It was indeed an exciting match. Sylvia I like Sam doggo and the loose confident way you’ve drawn his body. I can see you’re in love! This is Ye Olde Tree Stump from a photo taken last summer.

I'm away at the moment so am not calling in much but I wanted to send all good wishes to Tessa and her daughter. Hope everything goes well Tessa, I know it must be very stressful. Marjorie.
hi Tessa, Sorry to hear about your daughter and what a testing time for you as well. I pray God to give her healing and you a comforting heart that all is going to be well.  Take it easy and look after your health. I love that old tree stump.  It reminds me of one I see in the park.  I always feel tempted to go and sit on it.

Wow, Audrey, you have an amazing sense of humor. Great work on that face.  Margaret loves the blooms.  It reminds me of Chinese painting.  Alan those chitting potatoes look great { had to make sure I did not make a faux pas with that spelling. chuckles}  Dixie loves your horses and  Christopher those fruits are making me crave. Great reindeer Tessa. The super idea with the lights and plywood.
Many thanks Marjorie and Sandi for your kindness. 😘 you are a very caring lot. x
Good morning folks, some good stuff on again from you all. My today’s is a bit of nostalgia for me, I spent many hours sitting in and driving these, it is a Landrover  fire truck know as an ACRT ( airfield crash rescue truck) . Used dry powder to put suppress the fire, would go most places.
Sorry I have not been around much to comment or post much recently, but I have had a few jobs that needed sorting now the evenings are drawing out. just a couple of things, Tessa I am sorry to hear about your granddaughter, hope all is well soon.    Secondly, thank you Margaret for setting these challenges up, they have been appreciated by me, and I am sorry that it has upset some people. So while I can I will post one more for all to look at. Thanks all for an enjoyable time.
Lovely sketch Alan.
Lovely sketches all. This is my dog and bone.
Enjoying the work from everyone lovely sketches from everyone today, so here is mine inspired by the fact that I saw Primroses growing in the hedges today while driving to work. Spring is just around the corner.
Another lovely selection of sketches.   I am so pleased folk have found these Daily Sketch Challenge enjoyable and motivational - I have thoroughly enjoyed them too.    Partly following discussion on another thread, and partly just because I have a lot of other stuff I should be doing, I am going to stop posting on this.  However, I am still doing daily sketches, and intend to continue to do so!  Thanks for your company the last couple of months :)
Can understand that you have other things todo, and need to move on. I do feel saddened that part of the reason was the comments on another thread and this has partly influenced you. I want too say a big thanks  to you for starting it in the first place, it has been good fun and hopefully it will continue a bit longer. I don’t think this thread  was the  cause the comments that were made, but it has become a victim of them.  Anyway let’s get on with it, today’s from me, soluble pencil used.
