Nice one Paul… a touch of shadow to stop it floating perhaps?
Your suggestion is spot on Alan will add the shadow , funny how we sometimes miss the obvious. Just a very quick sketch fir a possible painting at some point old abandoned truck in the hedgerow, inspired by a couple of online photo but adapted to my own scene .
You and your trucks Paul….this is super. I have been busy painting cards for an exhibition in August ,kept me bust but can do them in good light and close to, plus a subject I know so well. Apology’s if I’ve posted similar ones before, I’m not very bright.

Thank you Sylvia , something a bit different but similar.
A quick bit of doodling figure , something I struggle, approx 15 minutes. Figures from different sources and not linked .

Some great sketches especially the dreaded figures!. I have been at our art group this afternoon the theme was beside the seaside. I decided I needed some figures!
Those kids are having fun Gill and for a 15 minute sketch they are splendid figures Paul.    I seem to have spent a lot of time over the years watching people and drawing what I see, very rarely do they notice.  Adabanji Alade is the king of this, he is worth a look.   Nexg hospital visit take a pen and sketch book Paul. These were done out and about not recently  my eyes are stupid.

Great sketches Sylvia . A4 Sketchbof a potential painting , love these old truck so different from modern ones , no power steering and had a crash gearbox very hard work to drive .
A couple of quick sketches I used photos taken in the street yesterday no more than ten minutes on each , love doing these quick sketches as no time to faff about used B5and 8 pencil.
Good sketching Paul
Lovely sketching Dixie, Sylvia and Gillian. I had to go to Cheltenham yesterday and sat for literally ten minutes waiting for the bus home, did these sketches. Apart from the one bloke, the others came and went in minutes, so these are very rough!
All great sketches, I especially like the dog.
