Sylvia, yes. The original cows are now at Milton Keynes Museum in an attempt to save them from vandalism, but there is a replica set in the original location at Bancroft so they can still be seen from the road and the railway.
That is happy to know.   They were always a landmark from train journeys…they made people smile.
I haven’t contributed much to this recently but enjoy looking in and learning about all sorts including concrete cows which I had never heard of! Here are a few little sketches from my daily walk. Not sure why the paper has come out blueish!

Gosh thanks Andy! They are quite impressive aren’t they? I’m going to look up the sculptor to see her other work. 👍
i like your drawing Tessa; especially the last one, with the red pen.
Thanks Tanja. I usually carry a little bag with a small pad and a couple of odd pens . I just need to sketch more!
Mojo seems to be on holiday but I did play around with some inktense pencils yesterday
Like how you have drawn the feather Gill. A old Schammell gun tractor , many of these war surplus trucks were bought by showmen and timber companies the latter for hauling timber . A5 watercolour not done as an accurate illustration .
A small watercolour A6 painting in rough ten to twelve minutes.
