Good sketches Paul and Lewis, you do such great character faces. Lewis I put the horse on the gallery a few days ago but here it is if you missed it.
I did miss that one, Denise.  Super work.
Not a serious bit of work just done for fun and to get back into the habit of sketching and painting more regularly . A5 watercolour and fine liner pens .
Come on Paul your lovely green bus needs passengers and a driver.
Sorry Sylvia it’s out of service.
Ha! Excuses .  I like the bus Paul. I went for a wander today and found myself on top of a hill in Milton Keynes. This is the view , not a concrete cow or roundabout in sight. You can see for miles.  I did the pen work in-situ on a very windy hilltop but admit to adding the wash later.  In my A5 landscape sketchbook.
Great Bus Paul. My sketch today with Sepia ink and  a Fude pen on Bockingford 200lb paper. Snow on the lane to Elan Valley.
Great sketches! I am really naughty as I set this up and then I don’t get sketching  every day as life gets in the way!! I was reading the Leisure painter and was taken with the piece about capturing sport  . So this was my try!
You have captured the action in your sketch Gill. Some sketch’s in from my scribble pad and sketch The ghost looking ship is from a sketch on the opposite page that left an image on the  page , pit was sketch with graphite sticks.

A pencil sketch of a steam  drifter , sometimes call herring drifters .
A good set of drawings Paul - I saw the herring drifter on the gallery. I took advantage of the fine weather yesterday and managed to do this one below in its entirety in my local park.  Really nice not to get rained on or blown away.
Nice work Paul and Andrew! The way up north here in Orkney not friendly to en plein air artists of late summer seems to have passed us by!!
